Reflections on Q1 2026 at South Coast Embroidery

Does anyone else feel like the year is flying by already?? As we roll into March at pace, we've taken a look back at Q1 for South Coast Embroidery — strap in, it's a long one...

Q1 has brought several upgrades to production and improvements to the services we offer businesses, clubs and organisations across Dorset and the South Coast, including:

🖨️ Printing upgrades – a new heat press with laser alignment for consistent, accurate placement across every garment, especially helpful for larger orders and repeat runs.

🌈 Expanded colour capability – we’re now printing with a 9‑colour process (CMYK + RGB + White), giving us even better colour accuracy while keeping durability and wash resistance high.

⏰ Greater production efficiency – faster turnaround times and improved energy efficiency per garment.

💻 Website improvements – a refined product range, better online designer and quotation tools, plus hosted merchandise stores so clubs and events can sell clothing without handling payments, stock or fulfilment.

✨ New service – the launch of school-leaver.co.uk, offering a dedicated leavers hoodie service for Dorset schools.

🤝 Industry events – volunteering on the International Moth stand at the RYA Dinghy Show and visiting the Printwear & Promotion Show at the NEC to catch up with clubs, review garments and meet manufacturers ahead of the 2026 season.

🪡 Embroidery development – ongoing testing of digitising methods, backings, needles and threads to improve results for fine detail logos and small text.

Maybe that’s why the year already feels like a blur...

While these upgrades support our growth, our focus remains on providing companies, clubs and organisations across #Dorset and the South Coast with a premium level of service for their branded clothing.

Drop us a message if you'd like to chat about a project or upcoming event. And in the meantime — how’s your Q1 going?
